The Tragedy of N089JKL—O**YX

← back

N089JKL—O**YX is alone. Completely alone. He is the last living member of his species.

His form is hard to describe to single-dimensional creatures. Parts of his “body” exist in six of the seven planes but no one part exists in two planes. To look at a multi-dimensional photograph would give a semblance of what a single-dimensional creature might call his shape. His motor functions and time conception are in Plane 1; his emotional processes exist in Plane 2; his eyes are in Plane 3 (the seeing plane); his control center is in Plane 4; his manifestation processes are in Plane 5; and his ancestral linkage and extrovigenal zone exist in Plane 6 (the discovery plane).

He, like everyone else, was born in Plane 1. He is visiting there now. Let us take a look.

He is walking across the sand towards the place of his birth. He has visited there many times. He spent the majority of his early developmental stage there before the stage of multi-dimensional growth. He looks at it from the seeing plane. It is as he remembers it in sight, but his feeling of it (Plane 2) has changed. Now he sees that it is not unique; in all his travels it has become part of the mundane. In fact, it is indistinguishable from the rest of the desert; now just a patch of sand. But he still remembers the emotion (combination time plane and feeling plane) that it once carried for him, and the memory is bittersweet. He remembers a father and mother and the understanding that there could be nothing beyond what they gave him and nothing beyond what is now just this patch of sand.

N089JKL—O**YX leaves this place without turning back to look. Without realizing, he manifests the home of his developmental years on that patch of sand as he leaves it for the last time. It sits, sand blowing through the windows, empty.

Now he is at his school. Let us look.

Again, it is gone. He looks down at it impassively. This place is made of ice. He remembers it with distance. It feels as if he did not live in those memories. It feels as if those memories were made of someone else. These ghostly memories are hazed in a white film of non-feeling and disdain. The one that occurs to him leaves him feeling strange. It is the memory of the time he and his classmates tried to walk to the edge of the ice field and one by one they turned back until he reached the tar fields by himself. He stood watching the bubbles form and pop, transfixed. He was scolded on his return; the eighteenth sun rotation having already passed.

He does not linger long over this site and when he leaves; he does not manifest. The ice remains, and we know it will not melt before the planet is struck by a meteor in 66,000,000,000 junct expansions of the universal exosphere.

Now he is underwater at his nest which he inhabited for the rest of his life. Let us look.

He has many memories here. The nest is intact, filled with many belongings. He picks up an icon of his father’s, now indistinguishable but carrying with it what N089JKL—O**YX considers to be an unbecoming attachment. He sets it down.

He thinks of his mate with whom he spent many of his years here. J9088** was one of the final females of their species, but a disease discontinued her reproductive system. She encouraged N089JKL—O**YX to mate with her mother and her sister, the other two remaining females, for the continuation of the species. The mating did not produce offspring, but it did damage the link between J9088** and N089JKL—O**YX, and she died soon after their separation as the disease spread to the rest of her body, quickened by emotional sickness. He pushes these memories out of his mind for the last time.

He takes one look across all of his belongings and releases their manifestation and all of them are now gone.

There are no living creatures in this ocean. And when he leaves, there is only unmoving grey water. But without movement it starts to look like air. Or stone.

Now he is releasing his multi-dimensional existence and returning to a child-like, singleplane state. Let us look.

As a child he existed only in Plane 1. As he entered the stage of multi-dimensional growth he grew one by one up the planes until he inhabited six of the seven planes. Now in the opposite direction he ceases to exist in each plane until it only inhabits Plane 5 and Plane 6; manifestation, ancestral linkage and extroviginal zone. This is where it will make the transition into Plane 7. It is not now considered the same being as the one we have been watching. It is not in fact a being at all, but rather a presence of the higher processes. The first step in its transition to Plane 7 is it manifests its place of death. It no longer exists in Plane 3, so it cannot see its final location, but it exists as this death place. This is its final act of manifestation and now it ceases to exist in Plane 5, and moves only partially into Plane 7. Here it rests.

Now it is releasing its ancestral linkage and extroviginal zone, whose final processes are slow. It takes 234,000 junct expansions of the universal exosphere for them to complete. This is what one might call its death throws. As they complete, it enters farther and farther into Plane 7. Plane 7 is something we do not fully understand. Its ancestors are not there. Its belongings are not there. But it will be there soon.

Now it is fully entered into the seventh plane. We cannot look anymore.
